濕疹患者要小心飲食,即使是蔬菜也未必全部可食。註冊中醫師梁尹倩(Cinci)曾在Facebook專頁「CheckCheckCin」列出10種較常見的蔬菜類發物,提醒患有濕疹的人士要慎吃。

梁尹倩指出,牛、鵝、蝦、蟹、無鱗魚等食物,在中醫學稱為「發物」。發物有助邪的意思,能引起舊患復發,將新病加重,故此患有暗瘡、濕疹、風疹、皮膚病或容易過敏的人士要避免食用。
而在蔬菜類中也有不少動風助火、生痰滯氣的發物,容易誘發皮膚瘡瘍腫毒,因此患者亦要小心食用,避免皮膚病發作。

Gloria表示,當身體出現發炎情況時,組織胺(Histamines)會在體內誘發出來,加劇皮膚痕癢程度。而進食如下高組織胺食物,或會令皮膚更痕癢:
- 部分蔬菜:蕃茄、菠菜、南瓜、茄子
- 柑橘類食物(例如橙)、奇異果、檸檬、士多啤梨等
- 發酵食物:泡菜、榨菜、芝士、金華火腿、麵豉、皮蛋、鹹蛋等
- 深色魚類:沙甸魚、鯖魚等
濕疹患者若要戒吃牛肉、海產類(例如:蜆肉、青口、花甲、生蠔),或較易缺乏鐵質。Gloria建議可多進食綠葉蔬菜如羽衣甘藍、莧菜;以及添加了鐵質的早餐穀物片。若濕疹患者不能喝牛奶或豆奶,或較易缺乏鈣質,因此Gloria亦建議可考慮飲用燕麥奶或米奶;進食有骨的魚類如白飯魚,或進食一些綠葉菜如菜心、芥蘭。
